Land degradation
Land degradation
Our Crowddroner Emmanuel captured this map in Tanzania. For the past five years, he has been working on a climate change project in the Arusha region, the northern part of Tanzania, to map and assess the extent of land degradation using UAVs. This increased the understanding of the vital dynamics of land degradation and the potential mitigations. In this orthomosaic map, you can see the incredible detail with which we can see the trees in this forest. With drones, we can monitor their health, extent, and the overall status of the forest to assess its condition and intervene when needed.
