Google for Startups
Startup Advisor: Sustainable Development Goals
GLOBHE is currently in a growth period, and we applied to this program with the mission to scale up our business, platform, and operations. We are also growing our team, and Google for Startups is the perfect advisor to help us identify which profiles are necessary for our scale-up.
GLOBHE’s raison d'être is to save lives, find sustainable solutions to fight climate change, and make the world a better place. We do that through Crowddroning, our digital platform to globally assemble drone operators and provide high-resolution Earth Observation data to our clients. Our ultimate focus is to provide the tools for companies to solve their problems quickly, safely, and efficiently. All while helping local communities economically, promoting a healthier quality of life for all parties.
We strive to empower people in developing countries to learn and use technology and increase job stability and opportunities around the world. We are committed to the United Nations 2030 agenda and are actively working toward six SDG goals to transform our world.
About the program:
The Google for Startups Accelerator: Sustainable Development Goals (GfSAS) is a 3-5 month program for startup companies working on products/services that advance one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The accelerator provides technical support to these companies, along with specialized training and mentorship on SDG partnerships, social impact measurement, leadership, and fundraising. We’re looking for companies that are taking a technical approach to solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges, with the vision for changing the world for the better.
A mentoring program designed to engage and empower social startups at scale. A remote program involving 100+ startups located all around the World. Cross-sector collaboration between Google, startups, and partners focused on achieving the SDGs.
“To accomplish our chosen SDG goals, we have drones as our tool. Our product is a digital platform that assembles thousands of drone operators around the world. We are excited to be chosen for this unique opportunity and look forward to learning alongside other startups and hopefully save the planet in the process,” says Rémy Ghalayini, CTO at GLOBHE
